Part 2 of a roundup of recent changes to the Six Sigma Study Guide courses. Part 1 covered practice and results.

Here is part 2, as promised. Last week was practice and results. This week is your study tools and the site. Like last week, some of these came from member requests and others from our go to the Gemba walks through the course.

My Study Plan

One page for the run-up to your exam: your exam month, your weekly pace, your mock scores and your weak areas. It builds your schedule backward from your exam month, so you know what this week should cover. Members with two courses pick which plan to open.

Example study plan timeline: lessons and quizzes at about 4 a week, finishing 2 weeks before the exam to leave time for mock exams, with an On track status

One Downloads page

Every course now has one Downloads page. Formula sheets, cheat sheets, planners, printable Bodies of Knowledge and every Excel template that fits your exam, with no email form. The templates are sorted by DMAIC phase, and most come with a worked example already filled in.

Clearer module review pages

Each Green Belt and Black Belt module review page now opens with what the module covers and what you should be able to do, then suggested reading and notes for your exam body. We also lined the review notes up with the quiz questions and added a “Key Ideas the Quizzes Test” section to each one.

The site

  • One login now holds both belts. My Account, My Courses and My Study Plan are one tap away, on your phone too.
  • Better on phones, with question charts and diagrams redrawn to read on a small screen.
  • Less waiting. Pages no longer load code they don’t use.
  • Logged in as a paying member, you see a quieter site built around your course. No sales boxes on the articles.
  • Dozens of articles updated, expanded and refreshed.

Two things to know

  • The pass-or-refund guarantee now counts your first try on a timed mock. If you joined before October 21, you qualify under whichever terms are better for you.
  • Do your own coursework. Using AI to explain an idea while you study is fine. Having AI, an agent or another person complete lessons, quizzes or mocks for you is not.

What’s coming next

  • More of the course tailored to your exam. Once you pick your organization, we’re working on showing you only the lessons, quizzes and mocks that match it.
  • Fewer emails. You told us you get too many. Soon you’ll be able to choose which ones you get: course emails, The Six Fix on Mondays, Friday Kaizen, and course update emails like this one.
