ASQ Green Belt Exam January 26, 2016 Study Group

Week 1: This week we want to get a baseline of where you are in your understanding of the topics that are being tested in the ASQ Green Belt exam. There are 3 easy assignments this week:

1) Take a free practice test here. (ASQ no longer posts its sample exam as a free PDF.) Grade yourself and post your results. Identify which are your strong topics and which are your weak ones.

2) Read through the ASQ Green Belt Body of Knowledge here. What topics are you not as strong as you’d like to be in?

3) Post a follow up reply with what ever questions you have on the test.

Reynaldo, I’m working up the answers and justifications for those problems you mentioned above. It looks like you missed one question in each of the DMAIC sections. 21/25 is pretty good – 84%!

A recent software update should have added a re-take option. If you don’t see it, let me know and I’ll manually reset your account so you can take it as many times as you want.

anybody studying for the Villanova Green Belt Exam? Does anybody want to form a study group? I found a large number of questions that are on the exam but so sure if the answers are right. We tag team and study together

Hi Karam,

Sorry this went unanswered for so long. The study group that started this thread ran its course years ago, so here’s how people find study partners today.

• Post right here. Reply on this thread with your exam (ASQ, IASSC, Villanova or another), your target date and what you want from a partner. This forum is public, so other people studying for the same exam can find you.
• Your local ASQ section. ASQ has more than 225 member-led local sections, and many have members preparing for the same certifications.
• Your course forum. If you’re a study guide member, your course forum is the place for questions on specific practice questions and lessons.

One caution on question collections that claim to come from a real exam. Skip them. Certifying bodies treat their exam content as confidential, and those collections are often wrong anyway. You spotted that yourself when you said you weren’t sure the answers were right. Practice questions with worked explanations will do far more for you.
